Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus hangs while playback or initializing. This should be caused by some bugs which obviously haven’t been fixed by Magix. I manage to find a solution via trial and error which works for me. Go to the Program Settings -> Display options. Switch the Video mode to Default mode which is Overlay mixer.
