Know Your Meta Tags

I still find a lot of websites out there having the same meta tag descriptions and titles throughout the entire site. Folks, you got to know your meta tags well! At least, try to write unique,¬†descriptive and relevant meta tags for your core pages such as “About Us”, “Our Services” and the product pages. Don’t be lazy!

Write Descriptive Links

Don’t just write “click here” or “Learn more” when creating your links. Instead, use descriptive links like “Click here for August Promotion!” or “Download our brochures to learn more about our services” to call for actions.

Insert ALT tags for Images

Using the right ALT tags can help you to get your images indexed and improve your page rank significantly. For example, inserting the ALT tag “A Place to Learn SEO” for your logo image.

Placing Your Links and Navigation

Always try to stand on the visitor’s point of view. How and where do you need to place your links and¬†navigation in order to allow the visitor to navigate more easily throughout¬†your¬†website? Think and think again!
